I attended one of Kay’s workshops in 2013. It was a horribly snowy day, so many of the participants did not attend. Kay gave us lots of attention and practical suggestions. I was amazed with her high energy, passion for guiding other women and her huge heart. We lost contact for several years until I attended another workshop last year. I was so impressed with the progress that a number of her clients had made. These quiet women became dynamos in so many ways. They became authors, public speakers, business owners and/or made huge strides in their professional and personal lives. Since I had been at a stand-still for quite a while, I knew that I needed to make a change and wanted what these women had achieved. Taking on a coach can be somewhat intimidating. Questions that come to mind are: “Is this the right decision? Will it work? Will it make a difference?” Kay is the “real deal.” She’s caring and compassionate but isn’t afraid to ask tough questions and give a “kick in the butt” when needed. She asks the right questions and makes herself accessible. I always look forward to her calls and know that I will leave with new information and direction. People often don’t recognize what is most obvious. For example, we take on habits that always aren’t in our best interest. Through Kay, I saw areas where I needed to professionally and personally improve. This gave me the confidence to take on new risks for the better. The following are just a few of my results:
I would say if you are considering coaching, take the plunge sooner than later. Kay offers a wealth of knowledge and experience that’s invaluable. She is so passionate about what she does and recognizes talent in others. She takes the time to help women build resiliency and bring out their best. It’s refreshing to find someone of Kay’s caliber who always follows through on her promises, is honest in a professional manner and plain fun to work with.
